There are no clinical studies that have tested the efficacy of Copper Peptides when paired with retinoids.
Copper peptides are quite stable, but can deactivate in the following situations -
- In the presence of strong chelating agents.
- In the presence of strong oxidizers/peroxidzers
- In the presence of extremly Low or high pH conditions.
Retinoids are are usually formulated between a pH of 4.5-5.5, and are not considered

New studies (1) highlights that GHK–Cu is hydrophilic and has poor natural permeation through the lipophilic stratum corneum.
